The legacy of Kenya's renowned composer, beloved choir director & distinguished literary scholar in African & Afro-Caribbean Literature
Notable works include the African Union anthem which Dr Arthur Mudogo Kemoli composed in 1986. It was selected as part of a contest and was retained as the AU's anthem in 2003. Below is an orchestral version performed by The Slovak State Philharmonic Orchestra, and also recordings of Kenyan folk songs which he is mostly remembered for.
